Striving for greatness.

Many chances get wasted because people don't use their full potential. Maybe the realization of this fact brought me to write this. Though everyone sees what I'm talking about. Most people we knew when we were kids in school had great talents.

For me, I could say every person I know has at least one ability they could use to achieve something great. Why don't they do it?

This question has been burning in me forever.

I myself wouldn't say that I use all my potential, which often makes me upset with myself, and I understand the simple fact that just not doing something is easier and more comforting.

But at the same time, the drive that I get writing this right now and doing my other work is a feeling not replaceable by anything else.

For me personally, this is explained by the sheer human striving for greatness and achievement. It is astonishing that this ability or craving is different in every human.

Although I also think it is an ability that you can learn to have and use.But here again, we have the question:

If we can learn the striving for greatness and success, why would we choose against it?

Is it because of the parameters society has brought upon us, which make it so unbelievably hard to focus on self-improvement?

Is it because of the overflow of options our modern first-world countries give us?

Sometimes it makes me think, that we are in times like in Ayn Rand’s book Anthem, where people are programmed not to see the full potential and power of themselves.

I think a great reason is personal fear of being rejected and losing social connections. Anyways, there is a reason why only some people have or learn this principle of becoming a part of society which pays its contribution to society in the first place, but also takes the dare upon themselves to go the extra mile to make the world a better place by putting their thoughts and ideas out there.

This is what creativity is about to me. It's about gaining so much confidence in your ideas that it's always bigger than the fear of your ideas. It's about trying anyways, no matter how the world will see it, because in the end….. The world will see it.

The Fountainhead

In The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, the main discussion revolves around whether remaining true to oneself at all costs ultimately pays off or whether it hinders one’s progress in a capitalist society.

Furthermore, the novel offers a valuable opportunity to explore the complex relationship between capitalism and collectivism, and how the two can, at times, fuel each other.

This topic is particularly relevant for people working in the creative industries. Both collectivism and individualism are often necessary to bridge the gap between effective teamwork and a visionary creative who possesses a strong personal vision.

I feel that the idea of a human being fully themselves and expressing this authenticity at all costs is gradually dying out, largely due to collective thinking fostered by the mass use of social media.

We humans and especially creatives should embrace who we are and what makes us unique. After all, this is why we were given our talents. Just as plants have leaves for a reason, every person possesses something distinctive that defines who they are or at least they should strive to discover, understand, and express it.

Bjarne (6PM/Flexburg)

Interview K.Art9

Introduction;

In this Interview I asked a famous instagram illustrator (ig. K.Art9) about creative processes and what the driving factors in her art are.

Enjoy :)

Starting this interview thank you a lot for your time and effort to make this happen.
First of all I want to thank you for your art, because I can’t even hardly imagine the time and energy all of those pieces and artworks take.
My first question to you would be, what drives you during your creative process and how you feel while working on the art.

1.  Trust me, I'm flattered that you are interested in interviewing me, and in general, I'm very grateful for everyone taking a liking to my art.

A big part of my drive comes from the fact that I am living my dream of making an income from my art, and I want to give it my best every day. But I want to put emphasis on the fact that I didn't do this by myself. If not for the support of my mother and my husband, who gave me the biggest gift one can get in life, which is time and the opportunity to try, I'd not be here now. So when I'm working on my art I feel really happy, even if some of my stories capture different feelings.

2.  Question would be if you would agree with me saying, that while working on creative projects, you get sucked into a certain kind of flow which could vary depending upon outside influences like emotions?
What are your thoughts and experiences with such flows?

I do get into some sort of flow. I visualize the project in my head and it's like a "rush" of excitement to make it become a reality and see it unfold. It's a quality I like about myself. I don't think outside feelings influence me, but it does sometimes slip into the bad habit of working very late or all night because it's the most peaceful time with nothing to interrupt the flow.

3.  Question
I really love your art, because it gives me the vibe of something completely new while giving me comfort looking at it.
Furthermore I think especially the cat videos have this „sharp“ vibe and I love the details in the videos.
Do you recollect your own life in your artworks or do you try creating a whole new world?

Thank you so much! You are very kind about my art. When I got more serious about animation, I think it came naturally from my heart to go for this nostalgic feeling of a cartoon that I would have loved growing up. Also, I studied illustration and only did that for many years, and I tried to bring over into animation the bits I loved the most about my illustration work. I feel I have not yet perfected this mix, and I want to experiment more with pushing the style further.

About recollecting my own life in my work, the most noticeable is the cats. The whole series was kinda born because of my relationship at the time, which turned into marriage now.

Many times in my life I tried to explain what kind of love I was dreaming about, and the kitties are that kind of love for me. I'm happy people relate as well.

4.  Question
What is the main force that drives you to do the creative work you do?

I think I was born with it. Art always called me. When I was little, my mother would bring me big rolls of fax paper from work because I would draw so much a notebook wasn't enough. I am living my dream. There is nothing else in the world that I would rather do than draw. It probably sounds cliché, but it's true.

5.  I love to ask this one because it’s so basic that the question is hardly underrated.
What is your favorite colour?

I didn't expect this after the big question from above haha. I love all colours but my favourite is pastel pink.

6.  And the last question
How do you think about doing collaborations with other artists maybe also as a big group Projekt?

I would love to, especially on a game! At the moment I'm enjoying working with musicians. I'd love to do some long-form animations for songs and more experimental visuals.

Thank you for interviewing me!

Interview recap and opinion.

In the latest interview with K.Art9, we discussed the driving force behind her creativity and how she experiences her workflow.

I believe this interview is excellent for showing people that creativity is far more than just something people do when they’re bored. It is a profound way for individuals to express emotions that they might never have been able to show in any other form. It is the act of innovating—creating a new path instead of following one that already exists.

Furthermore, I think this interview can be very helpful for artists, as it offers a different perspective on both the process of working and the reasons behind it. In my view, the reason why people engage in creative work is often more important than the method they use. I firmly believe that when you have a strong enough reason for something, you will always find a way to achieve it.

In this interview, there is so much love for her art, and it truly feels like speaking with someone who has found their true way of living—a life filled with passion, compressed into their own unique world.

One of the most striking elements for me is the sheer determination that shines through. It is like a constant thread running through her entire life: starting with drawing and sketching as a child on her mother’s paper, and later becoming an illustrator and the creator of the legendary Love Cats.

Christmas Blog 2025

Creative people are what moves this world
Politics, economy and society couldn’t reach for innovation without creatives.
When people hear this they first need to think but they understand fast that what I’m saying is straight facts.
There would have never been a plane, if there wouldn’t have been people craving the idea to fly like a bird does.
Creativity is the reason why people make decisions unique to the decisions made before them in the same situation.
Even tho situations can’t ever really be exactly the same, situations the world give us, are also a product of creative people making decisions that lead to bigger things that then lead to small things again.
It’s the circle of all life.
Creativity always lead to love and acceptance but also to hate and exclusion.
And it’s important that creatives find a balance in between the positive and negative creations.
In the Christmas time we are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
This isn’t just a special time nowadays because we just celebrate the birthday of someone.
It’s the feelings that people give to others.
The feeling of warmth and love.
Christmas is truly the season of creatives because it gives all of these inspirational feelings that have been around since 2025 years this year.
The birth of Jesus Christ was more then just the making of life.
It is the most meaningful birth for all of us creatives.
Maybe you could even say it is the birth of creatives.
The teaching Jesus Christ is that he eventually died for our sins.
Which leads to us humans having a bridge with god, being able to focus on outstanding powers and feelings which fulfill us.
In my opinion the world should acknowledge creativity in people’s minds more with the goal of creating more things that are actually useful for people and their wellbeing but still, I also think that creatives also need to be more careful with the content they create as content as itself is not simply given to be good content.
Maybe on the first sight this is hard to understand but I think creatives and creators should have the dignity to understand the outcome of their art and how it can also affect society negatively.

Merry Christmas.

Creativity and art is like a relationship.
Only being obsessed with the art won’t make it to a Masterpiece.
You need to be in this kind of connection between the empty canvas or empty writing space that you feel what it wants to become.
It’s like giving someone a strong shoulder to rest on, it’s like the artwork will give you what you wish for, if you can give the artwork what it is made for.
I feel like art treats us with greatness when we treat it more like a living individual.
I mean it is not very easy to understand as a person that isn’t obsessed with art the way I am, but Art truly lives.
To me it seems like the emotions of the moment, where art is born, are forever imprinted into the Art itself and everytime  we look at it, it radiates a bit of these emotions.

Laminar flow is the property of fluid particles in fluid dynamics to follow smooth paths in layers, with each layer moving smoothly past the adjacent layers with little or no mixing. At low velocities, the fluid tends to flow without lateral mixing, and adjacent layers slide past one another smoothly.
The human eye can’t comprehend this motion as a flow but it more looks like the flowing object is actually standing stiff.
This natural phenomenon has great potential to showcase a creative flow.
If you are in a flow while doing creative work that’s a great thing, but there are different kind of ways to experience such flows.
Either you are so passionate about the work, that you are sucked into it and can totally concentrate on every small adjustment you make.
I call this the Tunnel Vision Flow.
But, to me even more powerful then this work connected flow, is the flow where you totally disconnect from the world and also from the art you are creating in that very moment.
To forget the Art that your making, while you are making it.
The difference between this flow and the tunnel vision flow I talked about before is, that you are hyper sensitive because of what really drives your creativity and not like in the tunnel vision case, where your creativity is still driven by your ego and thoughts.
When you do your art while you’re consciously experiencing outstanding factors, like surroundings or feelings you always let those surroundings or feelings into the art itself.
Art and creativity should be pure like a cleaning Alcohol.
Because somehow art and creativity are the only things that can help us to clean out our negative thoughts and bad habits.

Our world.

Our world, the earth, is our only real home.
It is a beautiful place with Mountains, Fields, Valleys and Coastlines.
Our beautiful World with caring Humans, impressing Animals and breathtaking Views.
But it is also filled with gruesomeness, War, poverty, and enslavement.
Our World is a damned holy place.
But as I said in the first sentence, the earth is our only real home, so let’s make the best out of it.

During all this hardship with wars, poverty and dying children, we as Humans need a door to our inner dimension.

I sometimes wonder, how people that don’t seem to have this door in themselves can keep functioning while recognizing all the evil in the world.

For me this door is presented as many things.

It’s actually more then I could name it.

I feel like humans nowadays don’t understand the balance they need to give their life, in order to become a better person and a person that attracts their dreams.

They need to have a flow within themselves to outshine the evil.

To embrace the good within the creative flowing of your brain.

To feel how you grow with every step you take on the journey to become one of the greatest in your realm.

Because this is always the outcome of dedication within creativity.

With great efforts and full dedication comes benefits.

People would think that being creative is more a minor advance for a Human, but it is way more.

The ability to think creative makes spaces for things the humanity can’t fathom, this is why creativity is so important.

Without Creativity you couldn’t read this, not because I couldn’t have written it on paper, but more because of the creativity, of the people that designed the idea, of spreading information fast through the Internet.
